Letter from the Director

At Kempton of Greenville, we are happy to be open for front porch visits and indoor visits.  We have visitors daily by appointment so that proper disinfecting can occur. Our community also offers compassion care visits for those residents with a special need or concern regarding their health. Our residents and staff members have had the opportunity to obtain their COVID-19 vaccinations across the span of four onsite clinics, free of charge. We are pleased to announce that we have resumed communal dining observing six feet of social distancing using individual tables with separate sittings for meals. Our activity program has resumed in full swing as well bringing some normal back to our residents and families. Our housekeeping department assists in this process by helping with high touch surfaces and common areas. We are proud to say that we continue our strong efforts to stop the spread of COVID by frequently cleaning high touch areas, using our Accushield system for screening, maintaining social distancing during meals and activities along with the use of masks and frequent handwashing.  Kempton of Greenville welcomes our families, visitors and potential residents while they are looking for a loved one’s new home.  We have numerous ways to communicate with everyone either in person, email, fax or virtual.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Leigha Freeman
Executive Director

WE CARE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Here is what we are doing at our community:

We are following CDC and local Health Department guidelines for infection control and personal protective equipment for all of our staff.

We are monitoring the CDC and local Health Department guidelines and meeting with our leadership and staff to ensure that all of our employees understand and follow the latest guidelines.

We are disinfecting our facilities and offices using products approved by the CDC, we are making rounds to ensure that our spaces are clean and employees are following the infection control practices recommended by CDC.

We are keeping you updated with Ambassador calls and One Call notifications to our families.

We have set up an email for staff to email questions and concerns and leadership rounds to address questions on the spot.

We are pre-screening our employees prior to each shift using a screening tool that reflects questions that allow us to screen for exposure and temperature checks prior to each shift.

We look forward to when we may have you back in our facilities and with your loved ones. Please call us if you have questions and concerns, we are here for you!

Our community has qualified to host indoor visits under the updated guidelines.

Although indoor visits are now permitted, outdoor visits remain preferred when weather permits. Please note that as a precaution, indoor visits are still not permitted if your loved one is quarantined, in isolation or if your loved one is COVID-positive and on transmission-based precautions.

In addition, please be aware that guidance is subject to change and is affected by county COVID positivity rates and facility outbreak status. We are excited to schedule your visit so please contact us at (864) 968-1277.
